Got this right the first time. I took a look at the character's surroundings first. The thing that stuck out was the calander, which read April 26th, 2009. I went online and looked up the date, and it was on a SUNDAY. The mail doesn't run on Sunday's. But, there could have been the probability of getting the mail from Saturday, but it most likely was the maid.

These used to freak me out because of the music, to the point where I would have to mute it lmao

I thought it was the butler.  The cook was making breakfast, which means they hadn't had breakfast yet and would need utensils to eat with.  So why would the butler be polishing them before the meal and not after?  But of course if they only used silverware at dinner that would be another story.

It should've been the wife, the maid and gardener would've seen each other outside, the cook and the butler would've seen each other in the kitchen, the wife is the only one without a human alibi.
