Looking forward to watching Topia in Toronto. Hope Grichuk does well in Colorado too. He's streaky and strikes out a lot, but he does have good power and is a solid defender. The deal really makes sense for both teams.

It's a smart move for both clubs. Rockies get power, he could easily hit 25-30 HRs in Colorado. The Jays get a much needed lefty bat for the bottom third of their lineup, good speed and gets on base at a decent clip. I think the most intriguing part of this deal is the prospect Pinto the Jays are getting.

Grichuck was exactly the same as the rest of our outfileders as far as tools (Just a bit inferior), Tapia gives us and onbase speed guy. Hell probably hit 9th to get on in front of the sluggers. Grich is going to hit 30+ bombs playing everyday at Coors. This was a good trade for both parties in my opinion.

Amazing move! Grichuk going to hit 30 bombs with us if he gets consistent playing time. I loved Tapia and his speed is awesome, but Connor Joe can fulfill that spot so I'm not that worried! I think we easily win this trade and I'm loving Bill Schmidt more and more everyday!!
