Sarah is the BEST simple as that!

I love how everyone tries to say that Emmy is better. Sarah is by far the best Christine....no doubt about that! Besides, the part WAS written for her by her then hubby.

Emmy Rossum is mewing kitten next to Sarah Brightman's roaring Lioness. There is no comparison... The entire score of The Phantom was built around Sarah's voice.. No one can touch it.. I have heard better Christine's in High School productions then Rossum.. She was woefully miscast (the entire score had to be brought down an octave for Rossum to sing it properly).. They should have waited until Anne Hathaway was free to do the movie version of The Phantom.. Would have been far far better!!!

No one is better. Sara is and always will be the original Christine, but Emmy is for a more modern age. They are both amazing.

Both Emmy and Sarah voices are beautiful. Emmy has a more chidlike voice while Sarah's is more refined.

Sarah is awsome, I love her voice, I also think that Emmy is a good singer. There is a vid of the Original London Cast (Michael, Sarah and Seve) singing Angel Of Music and The Mirror, it´s in YouTube :D
