Also, about half the fish you mentioned are big enough to really strain your gear. And if you had it strung with 40lb, how the hell anyway would you set your drag at 45lbs? Never learned the 30% rule eh?

Its 22lb with free spool so u could prob get it up to 30lb if drag was put all the way up but that thing would brake like I said before if u use to much drag

@sharkfishing37 i'm sorry, i do not have the box anymore, and i used all the lube on my other reels haha, but yes, i have the clamp, and also i have a star rod Aerial rod that i want to sell with it as a combo, the combo would be $180, or just reel for $85...

U can’t make it 45 pounds maybe if it was the fifty but not the tld 25 i would say the max drag would be around 27 probally

Its not 45lb of drag the tld graphite frames cant handle that much drag they brake at the the the reel seat if u put to much drag
