I don't know what it is about the British mindset.

This is where it all began! Seeing you and Dave out in conditions like this is amazing, and yes it is fun too.. Great to make the effort to film it as that's not easy either! You also decided to sit out the storm when many would have bailed out! Tom

Very impressed. The wee akto did amazingly well too. Hilleberg tents are the best you get, simple as that.

Just returns from the Badlands of South Dakota and wind there was pretty strong also, watched other tents failed one after another but luckily my Exped tent held firm. Hilleberg is one of the strongest tents on the market in my opinion

I only have a tarp and bivy and there's no way the tarp would have survived that wind, you have some decent tents there and that's why they cost a bit more, it must have been a bit scary the thought of loosing them to that gale, thanks for sharing.

I was planted firmly in mine with dog but it was my good friends tent i was filming I was worried for it was lifting like mad haha thanks for watching
themuss28 (20 hours ago)
I bought some of them from alpkit but havent used them alot waiting for the freezing weather, I use the standard vs what come with soulo using them at an angle for the tent base is all that is needed. the deltas are bulky but if the ground is soaked from say a ton of rain or melting snow a v peg can pull out, ive had it happpen in strong winds ground was soaked melting snow didnt matter what angle i put them in they popped out deltas didnt on mates tent so switched to them for that reason cheers
