It’s a great pedal , took me a bit to get it all right but super happy with it now .

Nice review and thoughts on GX-10. I have a GX-100 and I think it’s absolutely brilliant in terms of price comparison with other brands. The only gripe I have with GX-100 is that it’s a little bulky to carry around. I don’t use a lot of effects, maybe just a little reverb and delay, plus wah and volume, so I don’t need that many foot switches. GX-10 would have have been a perfect fit for my needs if it was available back then.

A very thoughtful review of the GX-10. I've had a great number of all kinds of pedals. I now am building a small recording studio in my house and have been taking a serious look at an array of digital effects / amp modelers. I'm very intrigued by the Fender Tonemaster Pro - EXCEPT for the insane cost. It looks as if I'll spring for the GX-100. It's one thing to have buyers remorse or change of mine with a $500 device - but $1,500 for something like the TMP I don't think I can justify it. I've got two really nice vintage tube amps and a good PA, but what I most care about is having a great range of very adjustable and programmable effects, with some differing amp models, and easy recordability. I think at the price of the GX-10 / 100, one can't go wrong.

I have nothing but love for my GX100. It is worth it weight in silver. It is literally nearly every Boss pedal in one place without all the cables.

... thoughtful content, well done. Liked your sample at the end - great rhythm, good production - nice space for all instruments. Not a fan of heavy reverb on lead (but that's me).

Hi there! Got one, use it as an effect pedal in combination with a Tonex , a Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium Raw pedal and a Crazy Tube Circuits HI Power pedal or just over my Fender Twin Tone Master. Insane effects. Period.

I’ve had the Katana 50 MK2 since release week, Not long after, I went thought something’s personally and didn’t play much for 5-6 YEARS! Things turned around and I wanted to buy a piece of gear to get me excited. I finally found a EVH Wolfgang special (MSRP $1,199) for $5,500… WELL two a black and white for $1,100!! I plan on selling one for around $700. The price I wanted to pay used. Interest and creativity has returned to a 100%. I then started looking at another toy. I originally bought the GX 10 but felt like it was very similar to my katana and I was better off getting the Line 6 HX Stomp for the verity in software. I got the HX stomp for (MSRP $699) $450 new! And full Helix Native software for $50!!when it’s normally $100 when you have a HXStomp. Long story longer I’m super happy with my decision.

I think you can adjust the effects in more detail in the tone studio software. Plug in your smartphone/tablet/computer with OTG functionality via USB-C or via bluetooth.

I should add that if you have a Katana already, it’s all the more reason to get the GX-10, or 100,,,if your Katana lacks the ‘power amp in’ option, you can run it into the effects return,,,but the big thing here is if your GX - 10 / 100 goes down, you still have the use of the Katana,,, it’s just common sense,,,I run my Katana MK ll 100 as an FRFR and it sounds more like an amp, than using dedicated FRFR cabs,,,the GX-100 sounds killer through it!!! As would the GX-10

I would like to try one at a local Guitar store. However they never seem to have stock! Is there an issue?
