The most dangerous place on multiplayer servers is friendly airfields

one time i was waiting to take off and 2 guys literally colided midair doing a low flyby, and this su25 with full load as far as I could tell tried to take off from taxiway and ended up hitting the control tower and blowing up, and then as i was lining up this f15 with 3 fuel tanks cut in front of me from the middle of the runway, he didn't have flaps down... he made it off surprisingly but his AOA was too high and ended up stalling out literally 500m infront of me. Wonderful experience.

My first DCS Multipayer experience was a KA-50 directly kamikazing me litterally 10 seconds after i spawned, and since, we became friends and often play together. So I guess my F/A-18C wasn't a big price to pay.

And that is why you check the runway before taking off or even taxi ing...

My wingman and I in MiG29s watched 2 Su33s and a Su27 crash between taxi and takeoff on TTI
