That DI just revived him by telling him he's not hurt

You know you're fit af if you went rucking long enough for a recruit to die and then you just run up to his ass like you've just started.

I like how the DI approached it seriously at first. Hell, he was gentle when he first assessed him. If the recruit was seriously injured it's one thing. Looks like he just needed some Vitamin Motivation.

I wish you could see a DI respond to boot that was actually injured, and see just how much they really care, and how fast they would get them help. It's a thing of wonder

That D.I is no joke.
For those of you who don't know, that's not just boot camp. That's the culture of the Marine Corps.

I’m Army, and while BCT wasn’t at all like this, I always admired how my Drill Sergeants presented themselves on long rucks, especially the final 10 mile. Good men and women I hope to be like one day.

Mind over matter. Hiking was one of my strengths in the USMC. We were doing a long-ass hike one day before our 96, and midway through it, my eyes started to see red and black. It was a hot day in Camp Pendleton, and we were going up a steep hill at a decent pace. It was not until I saw our Gunny run up and down the hill to check the lines that I saw it. All my blurred vision and feelings of passing out went right out the door. It was a great to experiance that small moment.

I like how he was concerned at first, but when he realised nothing was wrong he started motivating again.

Sounds like a leg locked up from a cramp . The recruits that “helped” him just wanted a break from the hump

Why does this make me want to join even more. These guys got more passion than any desk job
