In a forest area that my family owns in finland near kuhmo you can find a lot of guns, ammunition, shells, even some unexploded landmines and some human remains it just shows how brutal the war was

Fun fact:when the soviets tookthe land all the finnish people living there moved back to finland,so instead of gaining all of finland they gained some empty houses.It was a victory,but a victory that in the end costed more than it brought in.

As you can see, the Soviets initially tried attacking on wide front, but that didn't work because of poor leadership and bad terrain. In the end, they concentrated their forces on the Karelian Isthmus and pushed through with overwhelming numbers.
