Don't Fail the Turkish Airlines pilot! This happens quite often when a flight arrives earlier than scheduled (tailwinds or other circumstances) its assigned gate may have still been occupied. Ground control should have been able to move the A330 somewhere else and avoid blocking the taxiway. You can see how confused are the "Follow Me" car drivers not knowing what to do and end up having the pilot follow them around the airport ramp until the ground controllers found a parking spot. This just shows me ground control didn't have a good plan

I think there was a problem with ground operation. Probably parking position was not ready or clear for A330. Then, ramp control or ground control instructed to the plane about move out from that position and wait remote position instead of blocking taxi area. When ramp was setup to parking position, A330 taxied to parking position once again. Thats all.

Turkey as well as Turkish Airlines are one of the best in the world. I really enjoyed a lot. Keep it up.

Don't blame TA pilot in command. He just followed that FM car. This is more like "tight schedule" issue of ground services, they obviously had hard time to assign proper gate to TA aircraft due to dense ground traffic and possibly because of packed schedule.

Love them so much n been with them few times n will have another go soon next week xx
