Even though I'll probably always play tf2 no matter what because of how mechanically brilliant the game is, I do agree that the community is beyond saving. Most of the people you meet who still play the game are pretty autistic and terminally online to the point of being totally irony poisoned or politically insufferable. The ratio of normal people to unhinged people you meet in the average game of modern tf2 is the reason I play with my game muted for the most part.
