Love seeing your stumpy tail cattle dogs. As an Australian, who owned one X with kelpie, gotta say those lil dogs are power houses of intelligence and willingness. So glad this lovely girl birthed a little heifer.

I don't know anything about cows, but I had a similar thing with my goats and it is a Vitamin/mineral deficiency. Poor thing it's something to look at.
