Ha! He KILLED it!! Loved watching his lips move. Yup, lizard lips:) But watching the roach run across the floor almost made me scream...which is what I do whenever my hubby drops them on the way to the beardie tank, almost daily. Just can't get past the whole roach thing. Crickets freak me out too. My beardies eat a LOT of salad, thank God, or I'd be a freakin' mess!! Love my beardies SO MUCH! Glad you posted this--great to watch those lizard lips!!

Beardies are fantastic pets and Dwight is a fine specimen...that roach had it comin' though lol.

i have three dragons. I have a colony of blaptica dubia roaches and they work fantastically. Only takes four or so to fill the adults up and the smaller sizes are great for juvies. They can't climb or fly and have no smell. Great feeder roach for beardies, leos, etc. and very easy to keep and breed.

Chameleons are lizards, but they are not a good beginner lizard. They have very special needs. A bearded dragon is usually a good start as long as you get the right heating and UVB lighting for them. If you buy from a breeder they can be pretty cheap.
