Can we please appreciate the fact that Johnathan was so overcome with UNYIELDING RAGE that he jumped OVER the fucking fountain!

It still surprises me how Jonathan jumped over the fountain.

The first time I saw this series, I thought Dio was going to get away with all of his shit since nobody in Episode 1 seemed to even like Jonathan aside from Erina.

It was a kick that caused him to lose this fight and it was a kick that caused him to lose his last fight. That's some poetic shit, or Dio just skipped out on leg day.

This is one of the many reasons Jonathan is my favorite Jojo. He was a gentleman, a scholar, a great man, and (like a real man) he didn't retaliate against all the crap Dio put him through until he messed with the woman he cared for, and how did he retaliate BY BEATING THE EVER-LOVING SNOT OUT OF HIM!!!

That feel when you realize in retrospect that when JoJo bursts through the doors that light isn't a dramatic effect; he's BURNING with Hamon before having any idea what it is!

Jonathan is so freakin' underrated as a JoJo protagonist. I've even seen message board posts claiming that Giorno has better characterization than Jonathan. Guess it's because the "Knight in Shining Armor" archetype isn't for everyone?

Even in that beating he sitll got time to say "Kono Dio Da!"

There's.... Something.... Very satisfying about watching Jonathan beating up Dio and Dio getting whupped and crying FOR REALS that I find very.... arousing.... I mean, I like Dio.  And Gentleman Jonathan too, very admirable.... IDK I just love this scene, it's both cute and fucking hilarious!
