The first person Bondrewd experimented on and sacrificed was himself.

Bondrewd is such a nice guy. Helped Riko and her friends reach the 6th layer and also made his daughter in to a white whistle, just like she wanted. Such a helpful fellow, so great with kids.

The fact that his OST is called "the Rumble of Scientific Triumph" and has a child choir in it still blows my mind. Kevin the madlad really outdid himself with that one.

Bondrewd used up the whole orphanage and still being able to be a better father than Tucker himself
trigger5258 (32 minutes ago)
I think what’s brilliant about bonedrewd is that he was at first perfectly willing to use himself as cartridges, and would have happily done so had he still been recognized as sufficiently human by the abyss.

People often compare tucker and bondrewd as being the same, I'm glad you pointed out how one genuinely loved his child and the other was willing to use his child to save his own skin

Child may your journey overflow with curses and blessing. Bondrewd

His charm is his inhumanity. No one sane can sacrifice the person they love, it's supposed to be the other way around. You're supposed to sacrifice for love. instead of loving intensely for the sake of sacrificing.
gabetalks9275 (17 hours ago)
Bondrewd's insanity only becomes even more compelling when you realize that Riko would never have gotten her white whistle, the very thing that she needed to continue her journey, had Bondrewd not turned Prushka into a cartridge.

What I love about Bondrewd is that he never once acts out of malice. That's the most terrifying thing about him in my opinion.
featherfiend9095 (10 hours ago)
Another thing I find interesting is how Bondrewd is characterized as "losing his Humanity". Depending on how you view it you could argue instead that he "transcended his Humanity". For example, as humans we are created with a strong inclination not to die. When we are faced with such a threat we typically grow to hate the entity responsible for it, quickly labelling it as evil without reflecting about why that threat even exists in the first place. We see this scenario play at nauseum when conflicts erupt.
