I always theorized that Linda only dated Hugo because she was guilted by her parents, telling Linda that she wouldn’t meet a better man than Hugo. But then she met Bob and realized that she was much happier with him than with Hugo.

I also like how in this version Bob gives Hugo the benefit of the doubt to refute the claim but the former just plain out admits it. GOes to show that Hugo is a real douche canoe no matter what situation he is put in.

3:33 i like to imagine in this timeline, Bob is completely broken. Having failed a few times to create a restaurant, he lost his enthusiasm and therefore doesn’t enjoy making puns. They remind him of what he lost and who he thought he would be. He ended up becoming a health inspector, which he was more than qualified to be given He’s a professional chef. It pays the bills but hes still dead inside
