Camping is not really affordable like it once was. Back in early 2000s I could tent site for $8, now between 35-60 bucks. Ridiculous.

Camping in an empty campground is just heaven! The last thing I ever want to see when I go to the woods is more people.

I watch a lot of Prepper channels on YouTube ......but this one is the one I watch when I need real information on what's going on without all the fear porn others use to sell products ! What people need is skills like growing their own food and learning to hunt/fish/trap ! If you can't provide food for yourself and or family without going to Walmart or McDonald's.......... you'll be a whole lot thinner by the time this winter is over ! If the idiots don't nuke us all before then! It doesn't cost anything to pray and gain knowledge and skills !

Met another like minded person who works as a foreman for a major electric company based in S. Carolina and is also homeless because even good paying jobs don't pay enough to afford rent here in Florida. I'm keeping an eye out for a boat for him so he can get out of the hotel room trap consuming nearly 100% of his income per month. I get it, things are bad all over but they are REALLY bad for the working class folks in Florida.

Aside from cost, don’t you think people also feel much less safe doing something like camping with all the crazy behavior we’ve been seeing?

For anyone who prays my husband and I are moving cross country and we hired movers and Uhaul etc then getting situated and trying to put a tiny farm together quickly. We paid cash for house so our finances are pretty depleted .. my prayer is God supplies so we can hunker down with what we need xoxox thank you fam

I think this also shows the psychological effects this has on us. Nobody allowed to be carefree for even a weekend. You can see it in peoples eyes, things are not going good.
