I like the fact that you took a shot that would be pretty common in a narrative film, and had people of different skill levels try it.

6:01 "I'm not gonna turn and look at him that would be to obvious, I will just turn my camera 360 over my should and take a picture of him because that won't be suspicious at all"

I got this a little over a month ago from Amazon and I love it. I am so glad there are people out there like this guy who are creating much more affordable yet still great quality equipment for us beginners. I have not had any issues with it yet and do not foresee any unless it is the result of my own actions. Thanks so much.

For those who have a digital camera like me (Sony a5000 or higher) Its easier to drop the stick all the way down and use one small weight, unless your lens are huge and heavy. I have a sony a5000 right now with a 35 mm lens. i have one weight in the back and I pushed the camera a little forward to balance it. So far, works really well. Thxxx. :)

Of all the camera stabilizer YouTube tutorials out there, this is by far the best. I too tried my hand at making one of these. The gimbal wasn't all that hard to make, but balancing is really the key to success. Trying to fabricate all the necessary mechanisms to accomplish that is what makes it much more than a weekend DIY project. With ready-made devices such as this one for under $50, it doesn't make sense to go it on your own.

Hmm. The weights at the bottom should be farther from the axis, or you'll get all kinds of spin. Too bad you can't adjust them. A couple extra inches would do wonders, as my girlfriend likes to say.

The part where he took a picture behind him to see who's following him made me laugh so much. That is way more obvious than turning around xD lol But anyways, thanks for the tips. This is really helpful
