The fact that some animations today look like this if not worse really makes you understand how ahead of its time this animation was.

I gotta say man, we can talk all we want about the fight scenes but I think the writing, direction and just downright the resourcefulness of how Mark uses the sprites to tell the story is criminally underrated. He perfectly captures every characters personality and how they interact with each other and the audience. We couldn't have a better creator for such a series....
