Alright I get it it’s gore s not grues. I know I’m a dumbass. And I know sticky grenades aren’t a unique concept, that wasn’t one of my points it was from the original and I felt I had to talk about it

My favorite theory is this one where this whole game is an Ai’s revenge against humanity, kinda reminds you of I have no mouth and I must scream

This game genuinely seems scarier than alot of horror games

The horror of People Playground is when you play it and all of a sudden you hear one of those really creepy rare sounds which sends chills down your spine.

the tower screams are straight up nightmare fuel

The “screams” in tower might be the screams of a human turning into a gorse.

I think this game is great because the core concept of these games is that the player is god, and that you have unlimited power over the lives of the test subjects. The game counters this idea by saying “no actually, there’s more here that even god doesn’t know about”

In the hybrid map, if you go to the bottom of the water you can hear sound effects of, something underwater, idk what it is or if it’s a rare sound effect but it sounds like there’s a massive creature down there, it really caught me of guard. I think that’s what the creator was talking about.

“I can hear something… in my house.” Is what I hear in the radio voice.

I thought this was just a game about gore and ragdolls…

if we're taking this lab theory to reality, the portal leading to a hallway with sirens might be you is escaping the lab. the sirens because you aren't supposed to escape, maybe you're a godlike being that they're testing on with humans to keep you entertained. or im dumb idk

There is an echo of something hitting something in the default map. They seem to be more frequent the more you play in a session. Happens to me at least.

People playground is different in the sense that the things you see and hear are a lot more cryptic and unknown compared to other games and that is why it is so fun scary and enticing.

Fun fact: the code inside the panel was a discord server invite code

This is the reason I usually play on the snow map, because there's a nice ambience sound and the background is blue and not any weird easter eggs

GMOD and People Playground are oddly scarier then actual horror games.
