One important thing to note is that this specific map layout goes as extreme as possible, with minimal resources whenever possible. I would likely track the suggestions on how to make a more balanced map with a chest with goodies (since stuff like waiting 5 hours for slimes to drop something is quite overrated)

I've always wanted a minimal skyblock for terraria. None of that "spider. marble, hell, ocean biomes still exist" nonsense. This is gonna be a good one.

After doing a run of this world with friends (recreated in TEdit), I can say that this entire run is possible without dupes given that you move the Lihzahrd walls ~70 tiles horizontally away from the altar, as otherwise lihzahrds cannot spawn. It took us around 30 hours of mostly fishing to be able to beat the wall of flesh, and from there another 15-20 hours to kill the moon lord.
