Imagine having the ability to draw anything, it’s just mesmerizing

The second drawing looks like it's never gonna give me up or let me down.

This was really, really helpful. Maintaining a "beginner's mind" in all things seems to be the most efficient road to success for me. Thank you so much

Yes, sketching in the anatomical structure can avoid surprises at the end. However, I am always amazed that no one seems to focus on the mouth. Get that right and you have a likeness. Don't and it's just another head. The mouth is key.

This is SO helpful. I struggled a lot when I draw my character's eyes first. What I drew looks weird. Yet drawing the head first immediately makes my character looks correct. Thx and also thx for the subtitle!

He's right I already knew this, yet I have been annoyed by the slow pace of my current work. I have been getting arrogant in believing I was now good enough to skip these basic steps and it takes me longer thusly.

This is a great way of helping beginners and making sure you don’t give up on a drawing. Alongside this, though, I want anyone following this advice to keep in mind just what stands out to you in the reference at first glance, in your peripheral vision, or what it’s doing in your memory.

Everyone can draw; using tools makes us craftsmen.

Thank you for the help! I have been finding myself "stuck " when drawing certain characters/people and was not quite sure why they looked a little...off.

The one thing I heavily struggle with is symmetry.

This was awesome! I know it's fairly simple stuff, but I don't think I've ever seen it laid out in such a practical, reasonable way. Thank you so much!

it really does help. I didnt used to draw them because i thought it was pointless and took up time, but you'd be surprised how quickly and efficiently you can draw when you get down the basic shapes first
