This is what I always imagined cracks in the pavement were when I was about 5 or 6... openings to a giant hole.

@cenapecs77 maybe i did not provide the best links...there are a lot on the net...the spanish vid is from 2010...the link is from 2007...i agree some of the still pics on other links look fake...but only because it is hard to comprehend...the films look real to me...

@Dalidinu yeah he said he heard an explosion before everything went down, he was near the area were the hole apeared, he said that his brother in law and his two nephews were swalowed by it, he sayd he and his sister could barely escape from the hole's reach, they say the authoritys are planing to dinamite the hole due to the menace it represents, they blame it on the pipes, but i guess something like that doesnt hapen all of sudden

I wonder how much cocaine was hidden in that hole

dude those things appear all around the world,this time it's just special cause it happened in a town geez...it's nothing out of the ordinary,it's just nature :)

@virus745 yes...it happens all over...don't know if it is happening more or not...but a hole like this is certainly worth reporting on....

@Singledad03 yes they are....as are volcanoes, earthquakes, and tropical storms....however, it seems to me their numbers and intensities are increasing...

@Dalidinu i'm thinking a pipe of some sort may have failed because of all the water from the storm....it was probably eroding long before the final collapse....but who knows...

Unreal... the hole look near-perfect and smooth around the edges. But I always wondered how deep is that hole. Also, the guy on the red shirt talking in front of the camera, said the his brother in law and his two nephews fell in the hole, but he seems so calmed about it (kind of odd) Only he and his sister were safe, how odd is that? Just a thought...

@BarbieJess7 they say a broken underground pipe...leaking over time...then the recent storms caused the crest to fail...who knows...

There was a Sinkhole in Louisiana That is not at the assumtion parish but inside my Granny's House
