I haven't found a way to return to YouTube. I got my MA in Art Therapy, and now I have a new career. Someday I'd like to return to this forum, but I can't tell when that might be,

Well at the end Richard Dawkins was quite rudely cut off at the end there before he could offer his retort to bill's, quite frankly, ridiculous point that morality and empathy comes from religion.

Oh my god. Is all of American TV is so terribly biased in favor of Christianity or is it just Fox? It makes me glad to live in Germany.

It amazes me how much that spews out of O'Reilly's mouth is just so wrong!

This may be the most polite conversation I have ever seen Bill O'Reilly have.

I am a Christian. i love Jesus and i honestly think the evolution theory is absurd but I do have to applaud Richard Dawkin's politeness. Always a very polite man

I love Dawkin's accent. It's so calming over Bill's arrogance, like what you hear from the first word he speaks.

I love the beginning when O'Reilly explains that saying "I don't know" is somehow a leap of faith but thinking it was done by magic isn't.

I grew up in a home that did not force any sort of belief on me, nor did any school or anyone else around me, for me that is to have been given freedom, to be able to think on my own, and to be rational when making decisions about whether I want to believe something I hear to be true or not. To be able to keep an open mind, to not ignore things that truly matter, and reject truths just because a religion forces me to. I'm happy I was born in Sweden, a nation where reason come before religion.

You are right, it does require certain degree of honesty and humility to admit we don't know either way. When I was referring to the 'just was' part for Christians, I was referring to the question 'how did God come into existence' and making a comparison between this and the primary cause of the Big Bang. The faith for the atheist is not that it was created, but in trusting it got that way without the help of a 'Power-Being,' solely through natural means if that makes sense..

I hate how they market it atheist Richard Dawkins not professor or evolutionary scientists and author of the God delusion or any other credentials

"being humble is a Christian virtue" says Bill, before immediately launching into a condescending and holier-than-thou attitude
