Because it probably was ment to do so. In every other boss battle the music starts BEFORE the battle begins, they probably scrapped the Idea on this one in order to give more credits and iconicity to the script

I see why the game started it at the beginning of the actual boss fight but yeah this is a lot cooler

The sword is a meme, passed from Sam to Jack, via the dog, who found the will to be a part of something greater of its own desire. So far I count three separate themes that culminate in the sword. God the writing in this game is crazy

The way the music turned on after Bladewolf hit the Metal Gear makes me feel like he has a built-in speaker that nobody knew about until the collision made it turn on.

Yet again the music never stops returning. Truly eternal.

Nah it playing as soon as the boss starts is harder and gets you more hype for the gameplay
