update: from the original forum: the purpose of converting midi into EMK files. It is just because they want to put DRM and prevent people from re-upload or using .mid file in other karaoke software. ‍ That's mean the key is actually inside the software's .exe file all along.

As a thailand ciziten, I have been into different karaoke places and everytime we would sing a song, this program being shown on a monitor will be the first thing when we litterally try to find a song that has a MIDI file, this insane of a thing can be found just almost EVERYWHERE in any karaoke place. You can find these in some restaurants that had a room for karaoke/singing crap. And it's pretty funny sometimes, lol
