Patch 2.01 dropped today. The issue has been resolved, however any corrupted save files you had are permanently gone. You will have to either find a save file that works, or start all over.

Happened to me, too… the save files that still work are all manual and autosaves I have from prior to starting Dogtown Saints. Replayed the f-ing mission like 3 times. With the last attempt I played well over 3 hours, finished the mission, did 2 car contracts, found 1 relic shard and slaughtered an entire barghest camp, so I could start the mission Balls to the Wall. All in hopes that maybe after playing far enough into the DLC the problem would solve itself. Well, I died during the big knife fight, and wouldn’t you know: I just wasted a good portion of my day!

I was at the last mission, 16 hours in PL and game bugged out, loaded last save and boom! Nothing..

CDPR - We are currently investigating an issue for PlayStation 5 where save files may get corrupted after playing Phantom Liberty for some time using the base game save. We recommend not to overwrite the existing base game saves when playing Phantom Liberty. Thank you for your patience while we're working on a fix.

Sorry to everyone who had this happen to them ️. Hopefully CDPR will fix our existing save files. Most of us lost a ton of hours invested in the game. I know I lost almost 300hrs.

As of today 28/10/23 the game is still bugged, it was working fine until the last patch a couple of days ago, now all my PL saves do not work because it says the required dlc is not downloaded which of course it certainly is. If this is happening after the most recent patch then my saves are truly fcuked.

All my manual & auto saves are now corrupt going back to before I went into dogtown. Was over half way through the DLC all gone so much for Phantom Liberty yet another CDPR disaster. How do I get a refund.

same issue happened me yesterday. i hope they release 2.01 the next few days

️PSA️ The El Capitan vehicle delivery missions will also damage your save files just like the DLC missions. On 2 separate playthroughs I tested the first couple deliveries. Both at different progress lvls in game. In both instances, the missions damaged my save files and I wasn't able to load any saves until BEFORE I started the vehicle deliveries. Just a heads up, everyone.

I’m done with this game…this is the fourth time……they screwed us yet again. I feel a lawsuit coming soon. 🏽

So basically I lost 10 months worth of data because that company can’t get it together….

This is unbelievable. I've waited 4 months for this DLC and now they did this to me.. they did this again.. lost my saves. This game is cursed

Fuck man I am so sorry. I had this shit bug yesterday and I am really pissed right now at cdpr. I am not playing until it is fixed.

For me, it says that my saves are damaged, not corrupted, is that the same?
