This is my favorite tutorial for this song. But if you watch Johnny play this song live, he doesn't use a B major chord at the 7th fret, he plays a B minor chord at the 2nd fret. If you listen closely to the studio recording, you can hear that it's a minor chord.

Age 55, never touched a guitar in my life, bought an SG.  My first teacher is Woody, first song is Blitzkrieg Bop.  Nothin's gonna stop me now.  We need more tutorials!

It's an Eastwood JR-Elite that I bought used for 350 Euros, so it's not a signature although I did change the pickup for a Dimarzio FS-1, which is what Johnny used.

3 or 4 strings (usually) on the E shape chords and 3 to 4 on A shape chords. Depends on the sound of the song. For some songs you can use all 6 strings on E shape barres.
