Reason on Faith
Description
Focused on religion in general and Islam in particular. The theme is questioning and challenging commonly held understandings of Islam. This channel has a two-pronged approach:

1. Videos produced by other creators organized into topical and creator playlists.
2. Videos produced by myself focusing on Islam, often with Ahmadiyyat as the chosen lens through which to analyze it.

You can read my longer form writing at http://ReasonOnFaith.org(the website) and http://ReasonOnFaith.org/microblog(the microblog). You can also find me on Twitter as @ReasonOnFaith. If you'd like to discuss Ahmadiyyat with others specifically, I recommend the Reddit forum 'Questioning Islam/Ahmadiyya' at https://reddit.com/r/islam_ahmadiyya/.

I am honoured to know you, and so proud of you for this step you are talking today. The ex-Muslim community needs many more like you, well informed and measured, truly a voice of reason. Thank you for this part you are taking in this change we are trying to bring about.

I have a question.

Hi I am an ex-ahmadi Muslim too. I haven't "come out" to anyone and honestly I dont think I ever will considering how close-knit our community is and how something like this would be announced to the whole community. As a girl, I think it's a lot harder as ,compared to men, we are monitored more and have a lot less freedom. I dont know what lies in store for me but I hope it's not as dark as I see it.

So proud of you ️️️️️, long time coming.

Here in Germany the Ahmadiyyat labels itself to be some sort of liberal Islam. However, when listening to their spokesmen (and spokes-women), who occasionally get invited at TV talkshows, its easy to find out that they are ultra conservative and not necessarely better than Salafis. Not do they only defend the custom of veiling their little girls but one of their leading figures, a German convert, tried to explain why women have just half of the rights that men have.

Islam can't stand scrutiny. You scrutinize it, you end up being an apostate

Congrats bro, always be a catalyst for compassion and the message will be heard by those who will truly benefit from it

I left without publically renouncing. I just kept it to myself because there're severe repercussions where I live. But I'm living free while I'm alive. They can do whatever they want with my corpse when I'm dead.
