Name
Hassan Radwan
Description
Were you to tell me the existence of the universe leads you to believe there is a creator, I will not argue with you. But if you tell me this creator burns people forever if they don't accept your religion, then that is something I cannot believe.

He's such a smart and eloquent man with all the right logical skills to dissect this myth but still stops short of the simplest and most plausible explanation which is, as you said, that this is a myth.

I'm a Muslim but glad you linked to the original lecture Mr. Radwan, so people can watch it for themselves in context. That's proper documentation practice and evidence of honesty.

Even a highly educated and intelligent person like Yasir having tremendously hard time to interpret his scripture and ironically enough, Quran claims, "And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to understand"

Yessir qadhi is a strong case of cognitive dissonance, we've all been there but the difference is we had to move on.

Thanks for pointing this out. Really feels vindicating to see them openly admit what we were saying all along.

As a Muslim, I always adored this man. Now, as an apostate, I still respect and love this man.

If Islam is such a perfect and clear religion why are these people doing so many gymnastics trying to understand it, interpret it and reinterpret it, reinterpret is essentially changing the meaning as they go along?

It’s amazing he openly admits he doesn’t believe stuff. Poor guy. I feel like he knows deep down it’s all false, but his livelihood depends on preaching this stuff.

It's so amazing and miserable at the same time the capacity of our human minds to do whatever it takes to save our beliefs while pretending to be critical about them

"To struggle with the truth and then admit the struggle is a safer position than to invent something that is far fetched and then pretend that it is answering the problems." If better directed, it could have been as eloquent a refutation of religion in general as I have heard.

I don't wish Yasir will become an ex-muslim. He is a much more effective voice in speaking about the absurdities this way.

Why would Allah protect evil humans (Gog & Magog) that do nothing than spreading corruption and even preserve their lifes even when they don't have water to drink, food to eat and no sunlight...

The fact that this man who is clearly very educated and intelligent, goes at lengths to make sense of this myth is sad, but this is what fear of falling into kuffar can do to a Muslim. The fact that he also goes at lengths to distance himself from the conclusion that it's a myth and that no one ascribe the quote to him for fear of reprisal is even sadder.
