To the critics out there, this was a situation where I decided to sing. There was no practice, no prior warm up. He started to play and I had to adhere to the key in which he was playing. I had never practiced with this pianist, nor even knew what key he was going to play the song in. This was improvisation in its purest form. Judge from there.

I never realized a person could simply lose their ability to sing. It was a totally foreign concept to me, but it happened. I went from this to not being able to even hit a note. I guess it's far more common than people realize, but I never thought it would happen to me.

When you realize this is absolutely normal, then realize you will NEVER be able to do it again! Where in your mind do you file that?
