A solo kill is still possible as of pre-patch 4.3. My base haste was 1256. I used two Dalaran Swords (1.4 speed); main enchanted with Rune of Razorice, off-hand with Enchant Weapon: Mongoose. Both weapons imbued with Frost Oil. I also used Basilisk Liverdog and Elixir of Mighty Speed (+315 Haste). Ghoul and Army were popped right before Viscidus froze, and Potion of Speed (+500 Haste) was popped when he froze. I made sure I was not affected with Toxin before I pushed for the shatter.

@MrFaBx you have to freeze the boss then shatter them whilst they are frozen, you need a lot of frost attacks, as a rogue I guess you could get an enchant since frost oils don't work on high level weapons haven't tried with the enchants though. You then need to melee attack a certain number of times before the freeze wears off or well... it just wears off and the boss will stay at 1 health.

howdid u kill him i was trying to do with my war but he just never dies

wow..wtf i tried this with 6 ppl & still couldnt do it, we did it with a mage as our frost & rest was a druid,2 hunters, awarrior & a pally, yet we still couldnt down it. any tips?
