this product did work for me, I'm taking it back asap. i was trying to play the ps4 on my projector, my projector doesn't have a hdmi port. but it has components. But this product didn't work. I'm just going to get another projector with the hdmi port in the back of it.

Thank you for your review. I want to use Netflix/Amazon Prime on my laptop and send to my '94 vintage TV. Glad you reviewed this, I'll probably get 1 of the HDMI/RCA converters from Amazon that are more expensive, but preserve better image quality. Your review saved me the run-around of getting and then returning an inferior product.

Yes...you should be able to use it with a Chromecast...although you may not be able to find them since Radio Shack went out of business....but I saw a new version that looks very similar at Microcenter in NY.....but there are other similar products on eBay as well

Does it work with a ps4 when hooked to a pc monitor?
