Zeromus was originally from final fantasy 4. Perhaps there are other summons that were from previous ff games.

I don't know if anyone plays pokemon x or y, but I had to nickname my clawitzer Zeromus because when it uses dragon pulse, it looks exactly like Zeromus using his finisher.
