Apparently, that cthulu Thomas is actually Level 1 of the things on the Japanese internet that you shouldn't search called "Oze Thomas". And Level 1 falls under things that some may find disturbing

That Cthulu-looking Thomas is the aftermath of the Boiler Test incident.

The creepy Thomas sculpture is from Oze Park in Japan, from what I've found. My guess is that the face was part of the rock formation, and the metal was some scrap added afterwards.

I actually volunteered at the Whiteman Park railway for a few weekends and got to see the trains at 2:56. The people there are lovely, and they do their best. Of course, that doesn't stop the faces from being downright hilarious/nightmarish, but they do try their best. Give them some love if you're in the area, they do great work and could use the support since a lot of their rolling stock is currently out of commission or unfinished.

For people who don't know: The broken arrow incident was when a bunch of B-52 bombers crashed with nuclear bombs all over the world. None of them detonated.

6:06 that is the Ribble Steam Railway in Preston, England. They do a "friendly engine day" but the thing is the faces were made for Halloween. It's quite stupid and annoying however they look after their locos really well.
