Uuuh, the bloons do gain speed in Freeplay. I saw on a game where the Vengeful Temple reached round 300+, DDTs were practically blinking across the map in a couple seconds.

Lategame should be a fair bit harder in 3.0, there used to be a speed cap pretty early on but I jacked that back up quite a lot.

Just a small update, it's been more recently discovered that the best temple is 2-1-2-2 because the support buff affects the mini vengefull avatars, so 2 magic and 2 support are good, and then primary is stronger than military so military is the one you drop

idk where you're getting you're info from, but blimps definitely have speed ramping. maybe not as much as btd 5, but definitely there
