There's another way to get there. It involves using the tunnel hole at the beginning spawn area. With yoshi, drop down, then spin jump out of the tunnel, and you should get enough momentum and hight to reach the wooden thing with the banana. Then it's just a matter of hopping on the boat that heads to the island.

you should put "glitch" in the title so that people don't waste their time watching this if they're looking for the normal way and haven't played it before.

So i see the algorithm is being weird again

theres actually a much easier way :) all you have to do is spin jump into the building riding yoshi next to the statue and let go of A when you touch the corner. you will clip into the building still riding yoshi and you can just walk to the island
