Honestly, this pretty much describes what transpired perfectly. A hacker got salty that a game he liked got shelved so he takes out his rage on the predecessors of the shelved, frames someone else as his scapegoat, and pretends to be the savior until he got exposed. And here we are now, betrayed, angry, and absolutely horrified that someone we trusted was actually the main villain.

Man I miss Titanfall 2. Sad that it never got the recognization it deserved. Now it’s infested with hackers. Atleast for the first Titanfall game. It’s literally the first hacker-controlled game (that I’ve seen), and both Respawn and EA don’t care. They only care about Apex Legends and the money. I’ve actually never felt this depressed in my life, ouch....
