It’s routine now to finish watching the matches and wait for an hour for this masterful breakdown. Keep it up Jason. You’re single handedly increasing the basketball IQ of so many fans one vid at a time

I love how every time I listen to Jason, there’ll be something that he talks about that reminds me how little I know about the details of the game. Very educational and informative.

Lakers, Nuggets, Heat, Celtics all up 2-1, same 4 teams that balled out in the bubble

Sad to say but there’s no physical NBA playoffs defense anymore. I can’t even tell the difference between regular season and playoffs anymore with the amount of soft touch fouls they’re calling

“Sometimes GSW gets the whistle like in game 2. Sometimes LA gets the whistle like in game 1 and 3.”

Something no one discusses about the Warriors, is how few ball-handlers they have to deal with ball pressure. There is so much pressure on Steph, especially if you have an aggressive defender on Green, because he is the only other guy that can effectively initiate the offense. Steph can explode in a game, but he will also wear down if you have defensive personnel that can actually make him work. The Lakers have that. And they also have enough quality guards where you can't hide Steph on defense either. They play their depth and they uniquely capable of wearing him out, because all four guards that played tonight can put the ball on the floor and create their own shot.

The Warriors did not get the whistle in game 2. They shot the same number of free throws as the lakers in game 2. How is that considered getting the whistle?🏽️ There was a drastic difference in the number of free throws taken by both teams in games 1 and 3 and the Warriors lost both games. That’s not a coincidence.

What happened in game 2? Ummmmm LA literally still attempted more free throws than GSW. It just wasn't a rigged amount mandated by Adam Silver so it wasn't insurmountable. You're smarter than this Jason.

You have ruined other podcasts and shows for me. I can only listen to former referees, coaches, defensively and/or analytically-oriented former players now. You’re amazing at what you do. I hope you’re being compensated properly. Thank you, I wish you the best. Keep up the work man

Last 2 games Warriors had more points in the paint than Lakers, yet shot fewer free throws. Why?

AD didn’t hedge he stayed level with the screen or was in high drop. Both coverages VERY different than hedging. I dunno what your saying. Idc if it’s super man if you hedge u can’t recover. In game 2 he was hedging not today.

Honestly to say the officiating didn't feel rigged is just disingenuous. I've never seen the refs just step into a game mid run and completely shut a team down. They completely and utterly swung the momentum without the Lakers doing anything. It started right as the warriors were pulling away and stopped when the lakes had a comfortable lead

So the warriors were playing with force until they were up 40-29 in the 2nd quarter and then all of a sudden they decided to not play with force and the reffs shitted up the 2nd quarter in favor of the lakers?
