My name is Oscar Rotap, Married and have one daughter, An Art Teacher and Outdoor Enthusiast. I started my hobby in 1994, when I was at work as Store Artist. Mountaineering introduces me to my fellow workers. We have always been questioned. What workout were we going to do to be strong during the Mt. Climbing?. The answer is MT bike... So I bought my steel 26 steel frame, slick tire MT bike with low grade components. We are only biking around Metro Manila only, especially in CCP Complex and Cartimar Pasay.. I had lots of friends in the MT biking community until I discovered bike packing mid 1990’s. My friends and I plan to bike to Mt, Pulag, Benguet, Mt, province.. That was the first time I used my bike and hiked. And until now, I’m 52, but my passion still continues. My favorite destination is Mt Ugo in Nueva Vizcaya and Bangaan Rolling Hills, Solano Nueva Vizcaya.
