the size of the beast can be measured using the size of helpers, which i call those little robots that turn on leds. using the real size of an led, we can measure a helper (1 H) to about 1.25 cm tall. the robot at the beginning that goes on a cannabilistic rampage is about 5.5 H in size. the robot that produces helpers (which i will call birthing machines) is about 2.75 H. an led tree (which are those technological trees with leds as leafs) is 5.75 H. saw bots (which are those robots that cut branches off led trees) is also 5.75 H.

the sawmill robot. the hero we didnt notice. at 1:02 he didnt run away and instead tried to fight the other robot while his friends got out safe. sooner after this scene we see at 1:16 one of the eyes doesnt look like the other eye this is because its the body and head of the sawmill robot.Also in the back of the robot we see a saw trying to i assume attack the robot meaning the sawmill robot still has sentience and is trying to fight back. what a guy.

This was legitimately a very genius piece of art.

The weird monster that just evolve over and over by devouring other things in a split sec gives me the chills

this is the closest thing we have to cyriak’s… other works.. without it being nightmare fuel

I love how that brave saw mech stayed back to fight off the monster while his freinds escaped.

Even when making something so different in style from his usual works Cyriak somehow still manages to retain his characteristic formal narrative... the consistency here is truly amazing

I’m now wondering if any of the robots that collect flowers could have this type of malfunction. Like every single one could one day accidentally become an eldritch horror.

... you know I find it scary that the world here went from perfectly stable to apocalypse so quickly ... you never know what small mistake could set off global destruction ... world wide chaos ...

The really impressive part is if you pay attention, the exact amount of machines stay the same before and after consumption.
