2010 ROCK N' ROLL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES! WELL DESERVED-AND IT'S ABOUT FLIPPIN' TIME!!♫♪♥
A lot of folks have messaged me asking who the young lady is in my background portrait. Per the famous Tudor historian, Britain's own Dr. David Starkey-it is the image of the legendary Lady Jane Grey, the tragic nine days Queen. The miniature that I use as my avatar is also thought by Dr. Starkey to be the Lady Jane. Other experts disagree-but as she is wearing the Guildford floral ornament-a Dudley family piece-and since that was her husband's name, the equally young, and tragic Lord Guildford Dudley-well I'd like to believe it is indeed the nine-days Queen-Lady Jane. :-)
