I saw this production and it still remains my favourite theatre production I’ve ever seen. Stellar cast! The new version just doesn’t come close to this perfection.

I was fortunate enough to see this at the Royal Alex in 89, 90 and 92. Always felt a bit disappointed that I missed out on seeing it in 91, so stumbling upon this is a real treat. It fills the gap a little bit. Even these short clips elicit the same emotions I felt each time I sat in the audience. Thank you for posting it.
