This is what I call civilised review of culture shock, she had different opinion but our country but didn't rub it on our face and make kenya look of a lesser country....maturity new subscriber

I love that Africans have stopped thinking America and Europe are the only places to go and now travel within our own continent.

Kenya grows these spices and chillies mostly for the export market.

6:31 Pepe/chillies are mostly served on the side so people can add to their taste and not cooked in the food. Like you say, Kenya is not short of spices or food varieties, but people generally prefer less spicy food or none at all and few combinations of food for a meal. Over- spiced food is actually a put off for most Kenyans. Too much oil or floating oil on food is a put off too. Tea and coffee are a must have!! Especially tea.

You were very respectful even when saying things that you didn’t like. We appreciate you As a Kenyan married to a Nigerian, I must say that I love Nigeria too (except for the govt and police but I also don’t like the Kenyan ones). I’m in love with Nigerian food.

This lady has such a bubbly personality. I like her genuines and review of our country & people. Also you forgot to mention ; Kenyans are very diverse & accommodating, you'll find lots of african nationalities here especially in Nairobi coexisting with other Kenyans. Anyway thanks for your positive comments. May you enjoy your stay here, feel at home sis.

The coastal towns in Kenya is where they put spices in their food. This towns are like Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu and Watamu. Their food is also so tasty. You need to try out Pilau or Biryani.

Beautiful analysis by a beautiful Nigerian lady. Great that more Africans are becoming informed/interested in our own societies. This will breed Africanism🏾 . In the past such would be done by a European
