Excellent tip. I ran away and stood there, waiting for him. He ran up, dodged and fell off the cliff. Didn't even need to attack. 10/10 fight.

Tried this out, I ended up slipping and died, but he fell right after me. I got kill credit and loot, just had to go back to the edge for the 11155 runes. Thanks for the tip, this guy is a pain.

He still pursued me around that corner into the crevasse and started attacking. I blocked a couple of attacks, went to strike and afterward, fell to my death. However, he countered my attack and fell to his death as well. Game considered it a "tie" and I was awarded with the Katana. Thanks for the tip to use the mountain side, well done.

As of 4-30-22, patch 1.04 I believe, he does not stop. He follows you into the crevice. I used my shield and guard countered him and he fell off. Easy win after so many losses. Thanks for the help.
