Nero is the ideal version of masculinity, while Dante and Vergil are the misguided versions. Dante is a rebel who never takes anything seriously and suppresses his emotions, Vergil is obsessed with stoicism, honor, and more traditional forms of masculinity, while Nero is the perfect blend. He knows when to be serious and is fueled by his emotions. He is also not afraid to express his problems, as we saw when he took the time to call Kyrie. His reasons for wanting power are so he can protect the ones he loves. Nero is also the only one who is a father, or at least, surrogate father for the orphans he took in with Kyrie.
