He has written material that he does first. At the end of his set he leaves time to do crowd work. He has 3 specials here on YouTube. Only Fans, Mathew Steven Rife, and Red Flags. All Three are worth watching.

His crowd work is utterly amazing...he pushes the limits but not in a insulting type of way.....

He’s hysterical. Sharp, quick witted and not PC. Best thing is he’s not “apologetic” and knows he can’t make everyone happy or not “offended”. True comedy. We need more like him to bring the pendulum back to center.

One of the biggest reasons he cracks himself up is because he says those intrusive thoughts that you shouldn’t say. He realizes what he said and he’s like did I just say that?!? Then you see him laughing. But he’s truly instinctual with his quick wit and he’s hilarious

He is so quick with the crowd work! He definitely will be around a long time! The only negative is trying to get tickets to a show is damn near impossible!!!

As others are referring to, Matt’s does not use his comedy in the shorts he posts. He feels if he did you would not like his comedy shows. So he does these smaller crowd work bits at the end of his comedy shows. They become unique to that show and every show has a resulting different crowd interaction which then fosters ticket purchases just so people can the crowd work for themselves.

He’s really funny. A lot of people say he’s not original… well yah crowd work isn’t original Don Rickles and Howie Mandel did crowd work. But it’s the best. Roasting people is the absolute BEST comedy. When he’s at really small clubs and venues he does a lot of crowd work, but in the theaters it’s about 10 minutes of crowd work. So much fun and he’s very good and quick at it. And I’m glad he’s not afraid to joke about things that a lot of people get canceled for. You’re only canceled if you let yourself get canceled 🏻

I like how she says, "I haven't heard him laugh like that in a minute." He didn't laugh...

There is another show in the same city where Christina showed up in the audience again. It picks right up where it left off.

I don't know if you guys are Jordan Peterson fans because this is the first time I've ever seen you. But Jordan interviews Matt Rife. If you want to know anything about him he is so smart, so kind and really really funny I think. I would recommend looking up Jordan Peterson interviews Matt Rife
