CJ Grover (X The Kid) was born on December 31, 1996 in Huntsville, Texas. He was 9 years old when he started making short films in his neighborhood inspired by his favorite movies (Spider-Man, The Matrix, Jumper) and by high school he was producing his own music and creating YouTube videos with the kids he grew up with. After graduating high school in 2015, X would attend SHSU until transferring to the Musicians Institute in 2017. While there X would learn some essential skills needed to become a talented multifaceted artist. Old Man Saxon was a mentor for X. Saxon showed that time is never your enemy unless you make it. Teaching X the importance of making timeless music the impact hip-hop has on the world today seeing the genuine potential that X holds. In 2019 X would release his first project exhale. Following up in 2021 with the fiery release of THE RAGE and again in 2022 with the meditative "Nothing To See Here, Move Along."
