Agree with everything you said. I have a 6 shot Ruger SP101 3" in 327 and I'm so glad it's a steel revolver, can't imagine what the recoil would be like in an LCR or Smith Airweight. A very potent round with the 100gr. American Eagle loading leaving the 3" barrel at well over 1400 fps. across my chrony. If that's a bit much you can always chamber 85gr. H&R Magnums at 1150 fps. I love mine and use it for EDC. IMHO it is more effective than a 357 just because of the lighter recoil allowing for faster follow up shots and I don't really notice the extra weight on my belt.

@ Urban Tactical : I recommend S&W long for range use. S&W long is much cheaper ammo and easier on the gun. I recommend 32 H&R for street carry to avoid over penetration. 327 is a very high velocity round. The 327 for woods carry.

hi nice revolver and good caliber. you missed one cartridge, the .32acp! YES your revolver WILL fire the .32acp in a pinch!

Nice, also you can safely shoot .32 ACP out of that too, except being they're rimless you'll need to shake or punch the casings out, the extractor won't be able to catch them.

I have shot an adult rabbit with a 327 federal magnum soft point 85 grain and it almost split the rabbit in half. I don't think the 327 federal magnum was designed to shoot varmints. At the same time, we tried out a 357 sig. jhp from speer dot on a rabbit, but the damage with the 327 federal mag. was more significant than the 357 sig.

Bought one on Armslist for 280. This thing is a BEAST!!! I am a different caliber guy as well! 327 is no joke!!!! I think its more powerful then my .357. Fun revolver.
