It’s definitely randomized. Found mine I south east of Watson, close to the big bridge crossing. You will see some concrete slabs that are bunched together with some red streaks on em. There will be two boxes to loot in between em.

I found a location with 2 potential crafting specs really close to eachother. In santa domingo go to the Hargreaves ST fast travel point ( it's close to red dirt bar and very close to a cyberpsycho location) From the fast travel point cross the street and go towards the cyberpsycho spot under the overpass. You will see a big spherical container with a staircase, under that thing is a box with a spec. Then from there keep walking forward until you see bunch of big cylinders on your right; on the left side of those, against the back wall, is another box with a spec.

found a epic crafting spec for armadilo in mission for wakako (temple quest as you enter tiger claw temple there is a path going round the right with a side entry to the temple through a window if a recal and it was in the box by the window. loaded another safe for a previos playthrough. did the same mission and it was not there.

It was not there for me. Did not get it at the original location either. I have never had this much trouble finding one.

Lol I'm still running 1.5 and BOTH the boxes in this alley had armadillo's.

️TRY YOUR LUCK at the rich jestski docks in a small black box, WEST/LEFT Side of the CITY CENTRE ~ DOWNTOWN, the closest fast travel point is CORPORATION ST, Just got a legendary Armidillo crafting spec there now. I'm Level 42 & Street Cred 50, Hope this helps
